Koningsdam goes on sale
Bookings have opened for Premier Voyage and Premiere Sailings on Holland America Line’s new flagship, Koningsdam, due for delivery in February 2016.
The first sailing will be a one-off seven-day cruise followed by a six cruise serious of 12-day itineraries throughout the Mediterranean.
"Since Holland America Line announced this beautiful new ship, guests have been asking when they can book the Premiere voyages, so we anticipate they will sell out quickly," said president Orlando Ashford.
"It’s always an exciting day when the bookings open for the first time, and if guests want to be on one of the first voyages of Koningsdam we recommend they book early."
The seven-day Premiere Voyage is a roundtrip cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome), departing February 20, 2016, to Dubrovnik, Kérkira (Corfu) and Katakolon (Olympia), Greece; and Naples.
Following the Premiere Voyage, throughout late February and early May 2016, Koningsdam will cruise a series of six 12-day Premiere Sailings on two alternating, roundtrip itineraries from Civitavecchia.
The first itinerary calls at Katakolon, Piraeus (Athens), Rhodes and Crete, Greece; Istanbul (overnight) and Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; and Naples, Italy. The other itinerary visits Naples, Italy; Palermo, Sicily; Cagliari, Sardinia; Gibraltar, British Territory; and Cdiz, Mlaga, Cartagena and Barcelona (overnight), Spain.
Cruise fares on Premier Sailings begin at £699 per person, cruise only, based on two sharing.
