Kuoni chairman to step down
Kuoni Travel chairman Henning Boysen is to step down after deciding not to stand for another term of office.
Boysen, chairman since 2006, will leave the Board of Directors at the company’s Annual General Meeting on April 25.
The Board is proposing that Heinz Karrer, vice chairman since 2012, becomes the new chairman.
In a statement today, Kuoni said Boysen has "had a decisive influence on Kuoni’s development over the last decade from a traditional tour operator to a global travel-related service provider".
Boysen said: "Now Kuoni’s transformation into a successful, globally active travel company is complete, I feel it is the right time to hand over to a new chairman
"I am very glad that in Heinz Karrer we have a highly qualified successor from within our own ranks. This will ensure continuity in Kuoni’s ongoing development."
