Lastminute appoints MD
Mark Maddock has been officially appointed managing director of lastminute.com in the UK and Ireland.
He has been in the position since July 2010 on a temporary basis but has now been given a permanent role.
He has worked for the company for eight years, Mstarting out as hotel product director then four years as European director of hotel partner marketing.
Maddock said: “As we roll into 2011 my key priorities will be to continue improving customer experience and usability, maintain our strong partner and supplier relationships and ultimately ensure the business continues to deliver on our commitments to our customers, employees and shareholders.”
