Legoland New York announces 2022 grand reopening
LEGOLAND New York Resort announced April 8 as the official opening date for the 2022 season.
Annual Pass, vacation package and single-day ticket holders will once again be able to enjoy rides throughout the Park’s seven themed lands, including Brick Street, Bricktopia, LEGO City, MINILAND and LEGO Pirates.
Guests will be treated to an entire slate of new attractions, events, shows, and new characters in 2022.
Most notably is the opening of an all-new water playground in LEGO City.
Here, guests can build and race a LEGO boat, ride water slides and be doused by a giant water bucket when the playground opens in the summer.
"We’re always looking to add something new to the LEGOLAND New York experience," said LEGOLAND New York Resort Divisional Director Stephanie Johnson.
"For our first full operating season, our team has been hard at work on new shows, new attractions, and new offerings"
Also new in 2022
LEGOLAND New York’s brand-new shows including Academy of Arrrrr, Detective Trace and Earth BEAT! take place at two newly built venues in LEGO City and LEGO Pirates.
In the summer the first annual Red, White & BOOM takes place on July 4. It is LEGOLAND New York’s first-annual star-spangled Fourth of July celebration.
The First-Ever Christmas Bricktacular (mid-November through December) sees LEGOLAND New York Resort open through December 2022. It includes appearances by LEGO Santa and a series of seasonal activities throughout the Resort.
Bookable through February 28, a new spring vacation package is available, starting at $179.99 per person.
LEGOLAND Vacations include a stay at LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Park tickets. Guests can also purchase single-day tickets starting at $67.99 for adults.
