Lisa McAuley joins Dnata Travel
Lisa McAuley is to join Dnata Travel as MD of Travel of Gold Medal/Travel 2, completing its new management team.
She is currently Silversea managing director UK and Ireland and before that worked for Avis for 15 years in senior commercial roles.
She joins the Dubai-based company as it confirmed that John Bevan will join next month as CEO B2B.
Bevan, currently COO at Florida-based Spafinder Wellness, previously worked for Voyage Prive UK and Lastminute.com, where he worked alongside Andy Washington, CEO of Dnata B2C Europe.
Nick Hughes, sales and marketing director at Attraction World, will also join the business as sales director at the end of November.
The appointments come four months after Dnata Travel Europe MD Andy Freeth and four other senior managers announced they were leaving the company to join If Only.
Dnata is currently pursuing legal action relating to the way they left the company. It is believed the action prevented them from taking up their positions at If Only last month and means they can’t work again until April 2018.
