Liverpool Airport in behind-the-scenes TV series
A new TV programme showcasing life at Liverpool John Lennon Airport starts this week on Channel 5.
‘The Holiday Airport’ follows families, friends and individuals passing through the airport and takes a behind-the-scenes look at staff in a seven-part series starting 8pm on Thursday.
Plimsoll Productions from Bristol specifically chose Liverpool because of its reputation as an airport where ‘the holiday starts the moment you arrive’.
Robin Tudor, head of PR for Liverpool John Lennon Airport said: "We hope that this series will give viewers the chance to discover just how much goes on the Airport.
"I think it’s fair to say that the programme makers were amazed to see all the other activities that go on over and above the day to day workings that help to make the passenger experience a great one, from looking after super car test runs on the taxiway to promotional tennis matches on the runway!"
