London Luton is getting a new air link to Eastern Europe.

Moldova based FLYONE Airlines is set to launch nonstop flights to Bucharest from London Luton Airport this summer.

The airline will fly daily year-round starting 15 May.

“This agreement with London Luton Airport marks the next important step in our growth strategy for the Romanian market. Our goal is to offer passengers more travel options to top European destinations,” said FLYONE CEO Vladimir Cebotari.

Luton Airport Director Simon Harley added: “With the continued addition of so many new routes and destinations to our departure boards, this is an exciting time.”
