London Stansted records busiest ever November
London Stansted just had its busiest-ever November for passenger traffic as it gears up for a record-breaking festive season.
The airport welcomed 2.14 million passengers during November, beating the previous best November total set last year.
The top three destinations were Istanbul, Dublin and Edinburgh, while the most popular countries for travel were Spain, Italy and Germany.
Airline punctuality during the month was 80% of all flights operating on time.
The number of passengers using London Stansted in the 12-months to the end of November stands at 29.99 million, up 1.3% on last year.
Stansted expects 1.4 million passengers between 19 December 2025 and 4 January 2026.
Nick Millar, London Stansted’s Operations Director, said: “The start of the winter season saw demand remain very strong and helped London Stansted record its busiest ever November.”
“Our operational preparations for the big getaway are well underway, both in the terminal and on the airfield. All our teams will be working hard to ensure our passengers receive the best possible experience during the festive season.”
