London visitor attractions show signs of recovery
London attractions are starting to see signs of recovery following a post-terrorist attacks slump in August.
Figures from Visit London’s London Attraction Monitor show that visits to the capital’s attractions were down 10-15% in September, against a drop of almost 25% in August.
Business analyst Jamie Talmage said: “Whilst significantly down in August, every indication suggest that visitors have begun returning to London attractions in September.”
Free and large attractions suffered the steepest decline in September, while small attractions only saw a “relatively modest” drop, according to Visit London.
