ATOL-holder Cheap Flights House, which specialised in long-haul flights and holidays, has ceased trading.

The Ilford-based company traded under the names Budget Flights UK, Cheap Travel Shop, Flight Solution, Flights International UK and Travel Shop UK.

It operated several websites, including cheaptravelshop.co.uk, selling flights and packages, and chinasouthernair.co.uk and saudiar.co.uk, selling flights to China and Saudi Arabia.

The company also owned several other website names, but didn’t appear to be using them.

According to information submitted to Companies House, the business was run by sole director Faiza Mahmood from 2010 until February 15 when they resigned. It was then run by Jawwad Ansar until its collapse on February 24.

The CAA said it was collating information about the company. Queries relating to its collapse should be emailed to [email protected].
