Loss making Vietnam Airlines faces stock exchange delisting
Flag carrier Vietnam Airlines could be delisted from the Ho Chi Minh stock exchange, following a third successive annual loss.
It posted a net loss of $439.6 million for 2022.
The Vietnam government owns 86% of Vietnam Airlines.
The airline listed on the Stock Exchange not long before the Covid pandemic.
Japan’s ANA Holdings holds a 5.6% stake in Vietnam Airlines.
Under Vietnam securities law, a delisting happens if a company posts three consecutive annual net losses.
