Lufthansa makes senior appointment to tackle IT
Lufthansa has made a new appointment to revamp IT across all the airlines.
Dr. Roland Schütz has been named chief information officer (CIO) of all Lufthansa Group airlines – Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Eurowings.
It will consolidate all the digitalization, speeding up the move to more modern digital interfaces, mobile applications and booking processes. effective immediately
Schütz has worked for the Lufthansa Group since 2005 and in 2010 he took responsibility for the IT sector of the cargo subsidiary – Lufthansa Cargo.
