Lufthansa passengers to be hit by second strike this week
Lufthansa pilots will walkout for a second time this week after talks with management to try to resolve a long-running dispute broke down late last night.
The pilots’ union Vereinigung Cockpit announced a new strike starting tomorrow at 03:00 German time (02:00GMT).
It will affect long-haul and cargo flights, but not short-haul or mid-haul flights, and will last until just after midnight.
Flights on subsidiary Germanwings will not be affected, the airline announced.
