Lufthansa is to reinstate an air link between Newquay Cornwall Airport and Dusseldorf this month

The German airline’s regional franchise partner Eurowings is to run a weekly Saturday service for the summer using Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, starting on June 20.

Lufthansa vice president Oliver Wagner said: “The south west region of the UK is well known to German tourists owing to the popularity of the Rosamunde Pilcher novels that have been made into a TV drama series here.”
