Villa Ferraia retreats begin in May 2008, from £2195 per person

in:spa is adding another retreat to its portfolio, and this time at the privately owned Villa Ferraia, Tocchi,  on a secluded mountain top just 20 minutes drive from Siena.  The villa has been recently restored with 15 comfortable and cool bedrooms with fine linens and Florentine products.  Its extensive gardens have a pool and lawn dotted with sunbeds with views of the Merse river valley.

The Tuscan countryside is the perfect place to get in to shape and the friendly team of specialists chefs, nutritionists, yoga instructors, masseurs and personal trainers will be hosting several weeks in 2008.

The day starts with yoga on the terrace as the sun washes over the Tuscan hills.  After a morning of hiking in the hills to invigorate your body and stimulate your metabolism, afternoons are personally tailored to include small group yoga instruction, personal fitness training and nutritional consultations.  All classes are tailored to all levels of fitness so everyone can join in at their own pace.

In addition, a regular massage will help to relax, restore and prepare you for the week’s activities.  There will also be plenty of time to soak up the sun by the swimming pool.  Dinners are a showcase of delicious, healthy cuisine – much of it picked from the villas own vegetable garden.

The in: spa team will ensure maximum benefits for all guests, such as weight-loss, improved fitness, stress relief and a heightened sense of wellbeing.  You can also organise your flights to include some time in Rome, Florence or Siena before or after your stay.

in: spa will be hosting their first Villa Ferraia retreat in Italy  from 1 – 8 May 2008.  Additional dates 21 – 28 May; 19 – 26 June; 12 – 19 July; 23 – 30 August.

The retreats cost from £2195 per person including 7 nights accommodation, transfers, all meals and drinks,  physical activities, a one on one nutrition consultation, a one on one personal training session, yoga classes and three deep tissue massages.  Recommended flights will be to Pisa airport.
