Luxury yacht operator Rascal expanding with five additional vessels
Luxury Phinisi yacht charter operator Rascal recently announced plans for a significant fleet expansion to offer voyages beyond the Indonesian archipelago.
The company announced plans for five additional vessels.
The original Rascal luxury vessel has been offering adventurous tailor made voyages in Indonesia’s diving Meccas of Komodo and Raja Ampat for the past year, and it will be joined by the new yachts, unlocking off-grid locations across Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean.
The first two new yachts are under construction and scheduled for completion in 2020.
One will sail Indonesian waters alongside Rascal and another will serve two routes from Thailand to Myanmar, and Singapore to Malaysia, calling at the islands of Pulau Rawa, Tioman, Redang and Perhentian.
The following year will see three further yachts completed, which will ply the waters of the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Thailand around the Maldives and Cambodia.
These vessels will offer guests the opportunity to create bespoke multi-location itineraries, with interchangeable options on different yachts in different countries.
The new yachts will have an additional above-water cabin in order to accommodate experts in residence, such as diving professionals, conservationists and wellness specialists.
As well as the six double en-suite guest cabins, various indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces are offered on each vessel.
In addition to diving and surf expeditions, water sports and wellness focused cruises, a range of activities can be organised, from Yoga lessons, spa treatments and photography courses.
Each Rascal Voyage can be a fully customised private charter.
