Malaysia Airlines, IndiGo agree airline codeshare partnership
Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo have inked an agreement to form an airline codeshare partnership and mutual cooperation agreement.
The initial MOU agreement will lead to more travel options and more seamless journeys between Malaysia and India.
Malaysia Airlines will offer its customers connections via IndiGo’s network and vice versa.
The reciprocal arrangement will see both carriers provide more integrated travel journeys.
Captain Izham Ismail, group MD of Malaysia Aviation Group, said, “With India being our largest international market, we are delighted to partner with IndiGo to further widen our reach.”
“We look forward to making travel more accessible for both Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo passengers.”
Malaysia Airlines currently operates 71 weekly flights to nine Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar and Trivandrum.
