Man arrested after Jetstar assault claim
A report in the Brisbane Times says that a Tasmanian holiday-maker who allegedly assaulted three people aboard a Jetsar flight to Queensland spent the first night of his trip in a police cell.
Andrew Ian Sharman, 40 appeared at the Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with three counts of common assault stemming from an alleged mid-air incident involving two women and a man.
It is not known if the alleged victims were flight attendants or fellow passengers.
Sharman, who lives at Turners Beach in the Apple Isle’s north west, was released on bail pending a further court appearance.
He was ordered to reside with his brother on the Gold Coast.
