Man forced off plane says he won’t be back
A man who was forced to leave an American Airlines flight blamed flight attendants after he questioned their skills at handling another unruly passenger.
The plane, which was headed to Dallas/Fort Worth, was forced to land in Houston after a passenger created a disturbance. Airline officials said a woman attempted to open an emergency exit door.
“She’s a friendly person, normal just like you or I,” Jesse Fore said describing how the woman next to him on the exit row aisle seemed at the start of the flight.
Mr. Fore told NCB 5 in Houston that the woman became paranoid later and a flight attendant tried to move her away from that row.
“And she immediately just turned around and just jumped for the door, and thank God I had my seat belt off, and helped grab, with a number of other guys, everybody kind of jumped up,” Mr Fore said.
Once the woman was seated, Mr Fore told flight attendants he planned to complain that they had aggravated the woman when she became disoriented on the flight.
When the flight was diverted to Houston, both Fore and the woman were removed.
“And I could only make the assumption that they were only trying to make me look bad, so I wouldn’t go back to and make them look bad.”
An Airline spokesman said:
“While it’s clear he started to help, he became a hindrance and refused to cooperate.”
While the spokesman said he is permitted to fly American Airlines again, Mr Fore said he does not want to return.
