Manhunt underway after Ontario restaurant explosion
Ontario police issued footage of two suspects they are seeking after a bomb blast injured 15 in a Mississauga restaurant.
Three are suffering ‘critical blast injuries’ authorities said.
Police believe the two men left a homemade bomb inside the Bombay Bhel restaurant.
"Two parties fled the scene immediately after the incident," the police said on Twitter, and are seeking help to identify the suspects.
"We’re looking to speak to the individuals seen fleeing the area and looking for the public’s assistance in identifying them," Peel Regional Police constable Iryna Yashnyk told reporters.
A huge manhunt is underway.
Mississauga is located close to downtown Totonto and just a one hours’ drive from the US border.
Rafael Concaceicao a Brazilian student dining at a nearby restaurant described a scene of carnage..
"Many people were screaming. They were trying to run out from the restaurant. There was a guy with glass inside his eyes. Many people were bleeding so much," he told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
