Mantra moors Peppers in Docklands
Mantra Group will manage a new five-star hotel within Melbourne’s M Docklands development.
The 68-room apartment hotel, due to open in 2015, will operate under the group’s luxury Peppers brand.
The hotel, adjacent to Etihad Stadium, will be part of the A$100 million mixed-use M Docklands project being developed by Capital Alliance Investment Group.
The hotel will comprise two levels of the 18-storey building.
"This development presents us with an excellent opportunity to secure a presence of appropriate scale and quality for Peppers in a prominent location," said Mantra Group CEO, Bob East.
Accompanying the 68 one-bedroom apartments, Peppers will manage an on-site restaurant, pool and gym, and lobby area with 24-hour reception and full service concierge.
It will be the first Peppers property in Melbourne CBD.
