Mantra to open new Port Macquarie resort.
Mantra Resorts has announced a boost to its portfolio of properties in New South Wales with the addition of Mantra Quayside in Port Macquarie.
The opening will bring the number of Mantra’s rooms under management to 3,500 across a portfolio of 31 resorts, hotels and apartment complexes along Australia’s east coast.
Mantra Quayside will officially open in early August, 2007.
The announcement follows the recent addition of three properties in Queensland and increases the number of Mantra’s properties under management in New South Wales to four.
Mantra Resorts Group General Manager Mark Hodge said the property would rank as one of the most outstanding holiday resorts in New South Wales.
“Mantra Quayside will set a new standard for accommodation in Port Macquarie,” he said. “The facilities and location make it the ideal place for guests to relax in style and enjoy the features of the area.”
Located in the dynamic heart of Port Macquarie, Mantra Quayside consists of 42 fully-equipped studio rooms and one and two bedroom apartments.
Reflecting Mantra’s philosophy of providing premium four- to four and a half star holidays in Australia’s favourite locations, the resort features a fully-equipped gymnasium, rooftop heated pool and rooftop entertaining area with barbeque facilities.
