Margaritaville unveils new upscale boutique brand
The Jimmy Buffett-inspired hotel brand Margaritaville is strumming a new tune.
It is expanding with a new ‘upscale boutique’ sub-brand named COMPASS by Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts.
COMPASS will be ‘economically efficient select-service’ and comes from ‘extensive customer research and market analysis’
"COMPASS by Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts presents a compelling competitive advantage to developers, giving them the unique opportunity to leverage the power of our time-tested lifestyle brand," said John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville Holdings.
Hotels will incorporate Margaritaville’s signature ‘casual-luxe’ design with an open-concept living lounge and Margaritaville-designed bar and grill.
Each will have a flexible design plan to ‘reflect each property’s local surroundings and unique architectural or site plan needs.’
COMPASS by Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts aims to roll out nationwide in urban locations, close to regional convention centers, in college towns, and in smaller inland and costal destination resort locations.
The first hotel is being developed at Anna Maria Sound, Florida.
