Marriott brings Fairfield brand to Cambodia
Marriott International has signed its first Fairfield branded hotel for Cambodia.
A management agreement was this weel signed with owner Royal Field Development for the hotel which will feature a restaurant and fitness centre.
It is scheduled to open in 2021.
"We are pleased to enter into partnership with Royal Field Development to debut the Fairfield by Marriott brand in Cambodia, strengthening Marriott International’s presence in Southeast Asia," said Paul Foskey, chief development officer, Asia Pacific, Marriott International.
"As Phnom Penh continues to grow into a prominent destination in the region, we will cater to the robust demand from business and leisure travelers for reliable, mid-range accommodations in the bustling city."
Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh will be located within the administrative centre of the city, just a 20-minute drive from the airport.
