Marriott Hotels debuts first all-inclusive resort in Cancun

Marriott Hotels, the flagship brand of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio has marked the grand opening of its first all-inclusive resort. 

Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort is now open, housing 450 redesigned rooms, including 124 premium ocean view rooms and 38 suites with balconies.

“Our debut property in Cancun perfectly embodies the Marriott Hotels’ All-Inclusive promise,” said Drew Iddings, VP, Premium Classic Brands.

Marriott Cancun has a wide range of amenities and services with 13 diverse dining options, daytime and nightly activities for all ages and a water park, featuring with water slides and an exclusive adults-only area.

There is a fitness center, arcade area, and a 5,000-square-feet indoor/outdoor CAMP Club by Marriott just for kids.

The Cancun resort aims to be a premier destination for events and meetings, with over 24,000 square feet of event space.

To nark the grand opening, the Cancun resort has an exclusive 20% discount on all bookings made until August 30, 2024.

“We are absolutely thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our guests at our newly renovated Cancun resort,” said GM Christopher Calabrese.

Marriott Hotels is further expanding its all-inclusive portfolio in Mexico at Puerto Vallarta, and is opening a resort in Djerba, Tunisia over the next few months.
