Marriott launches kids loyalty programme

Marriott Rewards is launching a new loyalty programme just for its smaller guests.
 
The ‘MAX!’ kids programme is targeted at five to 12-year-olds staying at hotels in the Asia-Pacific region and officially rolls out on December 21, 2015. 
 
Special activities will be offered, tailored to each hotel location, including dance lessons, cooking, arts and crafts, and pool activities.
 
"By introducing MAX!, Marriott Rewards aims to exceed the high expectations parents have when they choose a hotel for their family vacation. Providing children with enriching experiences has a positive effect on their lives an we are launching MAX! with the aim of inspiring children to enjoy a range of memorable experiences ," said  Anka Twum-Baah, Marriott’s vice president, customer loyalty and content, Asia Pacific.
 
 "With Marriott Rewards, members enjoy the benefits of loyalty in ways that are most meaningful to them, in their everyday lives. With MAX parents are assured that their children’s sense of curiosity and desire to learn about their surroundings will be encouraged and celebrated."
 
The programme is being introduced at resorts in all brands except The Ritz-Carlton and Bvlgari brands, and in JW Marriott Hotels in Asia Pacific.
