Marston Hotels switches from Utell to HotelREZ
UK group Marston Hotels has switched from Utell to HotelREZ to manage its Global Distribution System bookings and increase accessibility for travel agents worldwide.
The independently-owned four-star company’s 12 properties will now be marketed by HotelREZ. Agents will be able to book online, use a ‘call me back’ service or book via the company’s special GDS codes.
Marston Hotels’ director, John Cotter said: “HotelREZ offers Marston Hotels an online reservation solution that is specifically tailored to meet the needs of each of our uniquely-styled hotels.”
HotelREZ executive director Brenda Collin, said: “Our aim is to immediately increase their exposure across all GDS and dramatically increase room bookings.
“We will be working closely with all the company’s hotels to get a thorough understanding of each one’s individual strengths and features and will be looking to exploit all potential areas of revenue for them.”
