MedallionClass expanding to three more Princess ships
Princess Cruises is expanding rollout of MedallionClass to three more ships.
Royal Princess, Crown Princess and new ship Sky Princess will join the Caribbean Princess and Regal Princess, which launches the tech on February 17.
It features the Ocean Medallion wearable device which offers a more personalized shipboard experience.
Ocean Medallion allows keyless cabin entry, shipboard transactions, and food and beverage orders which can be delivered to any ship location.
"Starting in April, we will continue the expansion to a total of five Princess MedallionClass ships expected this year, as we continue on our path to fleet-wide activation," said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises.
Royal Princess will receive the tech upgrade in April, followed by Crown Princess in July, and Sky Princess when it launches in October.
