New Pavilion Adds 10,000 Square Feet of Space to Resort
The TradeWinds Island Grand Resort on St. Pete Beach in Florida has built a 10,282-square-foot Pavilion*, bringing the total meeting space at the property to more than 68,000 square feet.
The $1 million Pavilion can accommodate exhibits, banquets, meetings and receptions, including weddings. Made of high-quality, European coated fabric, the stately Pavilion is completely climate-controlled with windows, colorful blue awnings and an elegant brick entryway. The Pavilion is conveniently located near the front of the property with plenty of parking options and easy access for deliveries, function set-up and more.
The Island Grand’s sister property – the TradeWinds Sandpiper Suites – offers meeting planners an additional 11,000 square feet of meeting space just a short walk away down the beach.
Both properties were recently awarded Green Lodging Certification by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in recognition of their efforts to protect the area’s natural resources. As a reward for designation, Florida is recommending “green” properties to companies seeking environmentally-conscious lodging and convention facilities.
Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the TradeWinds Island Resorts offer nearly 80,000 square feet of usable function space. The resorts offer access to two properties in one with limitless beachfront recreation, dining and exclusive golf privileges in the area’s public and private clubs. The resorts are located just minutes from Fort DeSoto Park – rated in 2005 as “America’s Best Beach” by Dr. Beach.
