Meetings hitting high notes in Texas
Austin, Texas may be best known for its high-tech businesses and live music but it is increasingly attracting large conventions.
One major reason: The Austin Convention Center, which offers 90,000 square feet.
Local hotels are also promoting group meetings.
The Hilton Austin located next door to the convention center offers a new online planning service department for business groups.
The hotel also offers free meeting planning software online such as Delphi Diagrams.
