Mexico boosts year to date air arrivals
Mexico has seen a steady increase in air travelers so far this each year, which has been fueled by flights from the US, Canada and the UK.
Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism says 16.5 million international tourists arrived by air this year through October 2025.
It is slightly up on the same 10-month period last year.
“These results confirm that Mexico is a reliable destination for the millions of people who visit us each year,” Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, said.
“Families, young travelers and older adults continue to come because they find in our country a destination full of hospitality and experiences that inspire.”
More than 11 million Americans traveled to Mexico during the first 10 months of the year, also slightly up on 2024.
Tourist arrivals from Canada surpassed two million.
There were about 372,000 travelers from the UK, marking a 3.2% increase on last year.
Mexico welcomed double digit tourist arrival increases from several global markets, such as Italy, Argentina, China and South Korea.
