MGM Resorts not connected to Studio woes
MGM Resorts International has moved quickly to assure investors and customers, particularly those overseas, that it is not affiliated
with MGM Studios, a separate entity which has filed for bankruptcy.
MGM Resorts says the filing has no impact whatsoever on its operations.
MGM Resorts International operates a portfolio of destination
resort brands, including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage.
It has significant holdings in gaming, hospitality and entertainment in the United States, as well as 50 percent investment properties in Macau.
