MIAT Mongolian Airlines selects Sabre for market intelligence insights
National carrier MIAT Mongolian Airlines has tapped Sabre Corp to help arm it with market data insights as it looks to expand into new markets.
The airline will implement Sabre’s market intelligence global demand data solution.
Robust market insights will help optimise MIAT’s business strategy moving forward.
The global demand data solution collates GDS, government, and industry data sources and assists airlines with identifying new routes and revenue-driving strategies.
"The solution will ensure that we have strong data right at our fingertips, providing accurate and complete market information to make well-informed decisions," said Battur Davaakhuu, president and CEO of MIAT Mongolian Airlines.
Sabre describes Mongolia as one of the world’s fastest travel destinations.
The tourism ministry has set a target of attracting one million foreign visitors this year
"MIAT’s expansion plans have the potential to increase revenue for the airline and to have a meaningful impact on the Mongolian travel and tourism industry," said Dasha Kuksenko, Sabre Travel Solutions vice president of North Asia.
