MICE market growing at International Pow Wow

Friday, 28 Feb, 2012 0

Following the success of International Pow Wow 2011, when Meetings and Incentive Buyers (MICE) were invited to attend for the first time, this year’s Pow Wow is targeting MICE buyers again.

"International Pow Wow is the premier USA Travel Marketplace, and, as such, enables MICE buyers to meet with the leading conference and convention centers in the US," say sponsors.

This year’s event is in Los Angeles from April 21st to 25th with first time attendees being offered free registration.

The event offers five days of intensive pre-booked business appointments with travel suppliers and destinations in America. At the same time, there are unique venue tours specific to meeting and incentive buyers and evening events.

"International Pow Wow offers genuine business opportunities for the MICE market. No other USA Marketplace offers the quality and quantity of potential new suppliers. It also allows MICE buyers to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing contacts," said Malcolm Smith, Pow Wow’s general manager.

Over 5,000 travel industry professionals are expected to attend, representing international leisure and meetings/incentive buyers, domestic buyers, press and US travel suppliers who will be networking, negotiating and conducting business. It is anticipated that this will generate more than $3.5 billion in future travel to the US.
