Minions at Manchester and Alice at Gatwick
EasyJet is attempting to make air travel more enjoyable for families with young children this bank holiday.
As part of its Summer Fun Campaign, it is allowing some youngsters the chance to make boarding announcements in their own easyJet cabin crew uniform at some of its UK bases.
At London Gatwick the easyJet team has created an Alice in Wonderland experience, while at Manchester airport staff will be dressed as minions from the film ‘Despicable Me’.
Staff will also be handing out stickers, badges, high fives and more.
Children will also be giving a Little Traveller’s Log Book, giving young passengers fun flying facts, a full flight log, and space for the captain’s signature.
It has also recently launched Flybraries, providing seven thousand copies of children’s classic books in seat-pockets, including Peter Pan, Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland, The Railway Children and The Wizard of Oz.
