Minor Hotels announces new Anantara resort in Bali

Hospitality firm Minor Hotel Group has inked a joint venture deal with Indonesia-based PT Wijaya Karya Realty for a new luxury Anantara resort in Bali.
 
Slated for a 2019 opening, the US$41.4 million resort will be located in Ubud and feature a mix of 70 suites and villas, restaurants, spa and meeting facilities. 
 
Bali is a key market for Minor which already operates Anantara resorts in Uluwatu and Seminyak.
 
Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group said: "We are thrilled to be announcing our third Anantara resort in Bali. We are confident in the longevity of the island as a hugely popular tourism destination and the addition of Anantara Ubud will perfectly complement our existing resorts."
 
MHG currently has a portfolio of 145 hotels and resorts in Asia, Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa.
