Monarch announces new routes for summer 2017
Monarch has added new flights from Birmingham to Porto and Manchester to Dubrovnik to its summer 2017 schedule.
Both flights and holidays are available to book from midday today.
Flights to Porto will start on April 28, operating three times a week.
Flights to Dubrovnik from Manchester will operate twice weekly from April 29.
At the same time, Monarch is adding an additional flight from Gatwick to Dubrovnik, meaning the destination will be served by up to five flights a week from the London airport.
There will also be additional flights to Gibraltar from Manchester. A new Tuesday flight has been added to the schedule to take the frequency up to five flights a week.
Marjan Schoeke, Monarch’s head of network development said: "Flights to Porto follow on from a successful launch from London Luton and Manchester airports back in September.
"We continuously refine and develop our network strategy looking closely at where and at what time our customers want to fly. We are delighted to announce that for summer 17 we will launch new destinations and increase frequencies to our most popular flights."
The extended summer 2017 schedule follows September’s announcement of three new destinations to the Monarch network: Stockholm, Zagreb and Porto.
