Monarch expands regional network
Monarch Scheduled is to launch services from Aberdeen, Blackpool and Newquay to Malaga from the beginning of November with increased flights from Luton.
Daily services will operate from Blackpool, four per week from Aberdeen and three from Newquay. Flights from Luton will expand from eight to 11.
All services will start on November 3 except the Aberdeen flights which will take to the air the following day.
The move marks Monarch Scheduled’s first venture into Scotland.
The network expansion represents a 30% capacity increase to the Spanish city with the airline already carrying 750,000 to the destination each year.
