Monarch responds to further complaints about trade website
Monarch is inviting agents to get in contact if they are still having problems with its new trade portal following further complaints about the website this week.
Agents have taken to Facebook again claiming they are still struggling with the search function on the booking portal.
The fresh criticism on the unofficial Facebook forum, Travel Gossip, comes after similar complaints last month.
Some agents say they are avoiding making bookings with Monarch’s brands such as Cosmos and Avro because of the problems, which centre on the site’s search functions (see some of the Facebook posts below).
A spokeswoman for Monarch said as the roll-out of the new platform continues, Monarch was working with agents ‘to integrate the site into their working practice’.
"Last week, the sales team visited 25 agents to sense check their user experience and get feedback which was overall very positive," she said.
"We appreciate feedback from our agents which will help us with our continuous improvement and recognise that not everyone will welcome the change from our previous system to this new platform.
"However, we are committed to supporting agents throughout the implementation and would encourage anyone having difficulty to contact us directly through our contact centre on 0843 227 0962. There is also a help guide on the home page of the portal."
