Mondial appoints MD
Mondial Assistance UK has appointed Serge Corel as its managing director.
He replaces Mike Webb, who has become CEO of Mondial Assistance UK and Ireland and regional director of other Mondial Assistance business units across the globe.
Corel joined Mondial Assistance UK in 1997 as finance manager and quickly became finance director.
In his new role, he will focus on building on Mondial’s core travel insurance and medical assistance solutions to expand into new markets including telecoms and financial services.
“Embracing new technology is a vital element of our development strategy and has been central to our ongoing success,” he said.
” M-commerce has been high on our agenda, resulting in a significant business win with O2, marking Mondial Assistance’s entry into the telecoms market.
“We will continue to look to expand into this market as well as move into new markets.”
