More gunshots at Canc-~ºn beach
The sound of gunfire rang out on Cancún beach again but there were no injuries or deaths. Armed men arrived on Playa Langosta in the hotel zone on jet skis and discharged what witnesses said were about 20 ‘warning shots.’
The gunmen were apparently targeting two men on the beach.
A week ago a new battalion of the National Guard began operating in the Riviera Maya, which includes tourist hotspots Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
