Mosaic Holidays aims to work with more agents
Independent luxury operator Mosaic Holidays is bidding to work with more agents as it releases its latest Egypt & Jordan brochure.
The programme, which runs until April 2010, combines the very best of classical and modern Egypt as well as tours and stays in Jordan.
The operator runs tailor-made holidays to Egypt, North Cyprus, Turkey, Indian Ocean, Jordan, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Head of sales and marketing Paul Lacey, who joined the operator at the end of last year, said: “The majority of our business already comes via the trade but we would like to widen the base of retailers we work with.
“Our products are ideally suited to independent agents who operate in the tailor-made and luxury sectors and we can also fulfil a need for larger retailers.
“We offer specialist advice and a highly personalised service and once agents try us they tend to return again and again.
“Given the current economic climate and strong euro even the most discerning travellers are looking for high quality at the best value and Egypt is a very appealing proposition.”
Red Sea Holidays start at £595 per person for seven nights bed and breakfast at the 5* Maritim Jolie Ville Golf & Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. The 5* Millennium Oyoun hotel in Nabq Bay, Sharm offers 7 night all-inclusive options starting at £629pp per week.
Early booking offers with savings of up to £100 per adult are available at a selection of hotels in Sharm.
Mosaic uses scheduled carriers including Egypt Air, Bmi, British Airways and Royal Jordanian.
Services previously operated by XL Airways have been replaced with weekly flights to Sharm and Luxor by Monarch Airlines and the company will also source regional departures from Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle, Birmingham and Luton.
Pre-bookable dive courses and packages are available and start at £89pp for a three-day dive package in Hurghada or Dahab and £199 for PADI Open Water courses in a choice of locations.
Jordan options include flying direct to Amman for a classical seven-night tour, encompassing the Dead Sea, Amman and Petra starting at £1,939.
New for 2009 is a Nile Cruise on the Sonesta Dahabiya, an intimate traditional Egyptian sailing boat with just six cabins and two suites.
Seven night holidays start at £1,899. Several other cruise options are featured including Oberoi, Movenpick and Sonesta vessels. Nile cruises can be incorporated in tailor-made holidays to include stays in other Egyptian cities and resorts like Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Lake Nasser and Hurghada.
Short breaks to Cairo start at £548 for three nights at the Movenpick Pyramids Hotel and can also be twinned with a two-night stay on Egypt’s north coast resort of Alexandria from £848.
