Myrtle Beach: best boardwalk and beach
First, it was voted “Best Boardwalk” (National Geographic). Now, Myrtle Beach, SC, has been voted the best beach in the United States according to TripAdvisor.com.
“The travel website judged the category based on a variety of criteria including the number of hotels and restaurants in the area and activities to accommodate any holiday budget,” according to a press release.
Myrtle Beach beat out Cape May, New Jersey and Panama City, Florida.
Myrtle Beach’s allure includes golf courses and water parks. It draws nearly 14 million visitors annually.
