MyTravel to sell Cresta?
MyTravel has confirmed that it is planning to sell one of its businesses.
Reports in the national press suggest that short break operator, Cresta Holidays has been put up for sale.
A MyTravel spokesperson told TravelMole that it had received a lot of interest regarding the business and was in the process of following up leads.
One national newspaper suggested that First Choice and Ebookers could be among the interested parties. Speculation in industry press last year suggesting that lastminute.com was interested in the company, could also make it a contender.
The troubled operator sold its coach holiday business, Leger Holidays at the end of last year in a managment buyout aided by venture capitalists, 3i Plc.
