Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a national strategy for account retention and the capture of new business.
  • The day to day management of National Accounts. Managing the sales and high level support requirements of major account customers.
  • Managing the direct relationship with customer management including IT management in any special projects undertaken for specific major accounts.
  • Planning and implement a national account strategy that includes State Managers and state based sales staff.
  • Liaising with Support Services staff and maintain oversight of internal systems to ensure that national account customers are at all times fully briefed on their operation, particularly with respect to special projects and to manage the impact of change on the account.

Required skills/experience/personal qualities

  • A demonstrated high level of written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • A  background in Business Development and/or Account Management. PC literacy with grounding in networks and applications.
  • The ability to research and present tailored solutions. Familiarity with Travel Agency operations Deal analysis skills with lateral thought capability.
  • Professional Account Management Skills Total ownership and commitment to problem resolution Relationship Building
