Our client is the only dedicated global wholesale travel company that does not sell direct to the end consumer. Their focus is on a unique blend of fair business trading, competitive pricing, global connections and innovative technology that benefits the travel trade and suppliers worldwide
They are seeking a Travel Industry professional who is able to demonstrate a proven track record of significant business development within the industry in Australia with experience in XML Key Account Business Development.
The role entails leading the sales and product teams, meeting and exceeding sales targets, making sure service levels are adhered to and putting procedures in place to secure new growth, cement current relationships and build the success of the operation. You will possess extensive experience in a previous national business development management background in travel, hospitality or wholesale capacity. You will also have experience of setting business plans, business strategies and selling products in a B2B environment. You will need to be able to communicate effectively on all levels, both written and orally, be able to work cooperatively and be flexible with team members and have the ability to adjust to this rapidly changing environment. Negotiation skills are imperative.
