The initiative – called Best of Romagna – was recently rated as one of the world’s top 100 sustainable destinations.

And now a special castle-to-castle walking extension has been announced so that guests can enjoy this glorious area to the fullest.

Set between Venice and Florence, the Apennines and the Adriatic, Romagna is the ‘Real Italy’ that visitors long for rather than the sanitized version often sold!

BestofRomagna’s team of specially-selected local co-creators include hosts, restaurateurs, vineyard owners, master cheese makers, musicians, videographers, artists, thermal spa owners and cookery teachers.

Together, they have created a special one-week program to offer an authentic natural taste of Romagna which incorporates country-house accommodation, meals, wine, olive oil and specialty food tastings, daily activities and visits designed to enjoy the best of Romagna on a total natural wellbeing holiday.

Guests can then enjoy a week strolling from castle to castle in the hills of Romagna.
