Neilson plans online booking
Ski and sailing activity operator Neilson is to offer a transactional website by adopting Sell-It Suite technology provided by RWA.
The decision will enable the Thomas Cook brand to offer online browsing, searching and booking facilities by the end of the year in addition to brochure content.
Sell-It-Suite will receive inventory and pricing from Thomas Cook’s TOS reservation system and combine it with existing brochure content.
The ‘browse and book’ capability will add a “whole new dimension” to the Neilson website, claimed technology company RWA’s business development director Mark Bradbury.
“The new transactional website will be a great example of how Sell-It Suite can be used to provide easy to use, compelling browsing and booking capabilities for existing tour operator web sites,” he said.
Mr Bradbury revealed that RWA was close to clinching a technology deal with a second unnamed Thomas Cook tour operating brand.
