Net Trans takes over ABACUS commissions
Singapore-based GDS, ABACUS, has signed Net Trans to manage its agency commissions.
The three-year agreement will see Net Trans collect agency commissions for non-air bookings. ABACUS vice president, head of associate sales, Rogelio Sarreal said: “By implementing this programme, ABACUS brings to fruition one of our long term goals- that all ABACUS agents, regardless of their size, have the opportunity and ability to be rewarded for incremental business they bring to hotels”.
Because Net Trans provides real time information and logistics, agents should receive commissions without delay.
ABACUS, which is part owned by Sabre, has multiple airline partners including All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Eva Airways, Garuda Indonesia, Dragonair, Philippine Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei Airline, SilkAir and Singapore Airlines.
