New app shows who’s in your meeting
A new version of the Zwoor Events mobile app lets meeting and event participants see who else is in the room.
When an attendee connects to social media using the mobile app, it brings up a list of participants and brief bios pulled from their social profiles.
Conference agenda, speaker bios, agenda materials and exhibitor booth description already were available using the app. But Version 2.0 lets you connect to attendees, speakers and exhibitors.
Attendees can "follow" the speaker in Twitter or LinkedIn, signal interest in participating on an agenda topic or visiting an exhibitor booth, or tweet to the conference hash tag from within the mobile app.
For the meeting planner, Conference Real Time Alerts allows fast messaging to attendees, from venue changes to special promotions during the show.
A Twitter Conference wall, based on event hash tag, is fed automatically from the mobile app, and exhibitors are notified of the interest of visiting their booth.
Session ratings and comments are built in as well.
Zwoor Event has several security formats, from Conferences and Tradeshows materials intended to be shared publicly, to a company or department meeting restricted to the employees, or a very private Event with highly restricted data, where the materials distribution is tightly controlled and uniquely identified.
For more sophisticated surveys of the audience, the Zwoor Survey app allows the creation and distribution of surveys, online or offline, and includes a library of templates and real-time results sharing.
Both Zwoor Event and Zwoor Survey have free versions available, and are available for the iPhone, iTouch, iPad and the Android devices. For more information, visit Zwoor.com.
